St. Antony Hours of Prayer

1 June 2010

I am happy to announce the release of version 2.0 of the St. Antony Hours of Prayer windows application.

The application is a windows utility that runs in the system tray. At the canonical hours, bells will sound and a Psalm relevant to that hour will be displayed.

The software is absolutely free to use and to distribute. If you find the software helpful and profitable to your spiritual life, I would really appreciate it if you could make a donation.

Click here to download the installer.

If you have any suggestions for improvement or content please let me know.

The idea for the program came from my priest, Fr. George Eber, whose first request for it was several years ago.

I am using the Psalter According to the Seventy from Holy Transfiguration Monastery for the Psalm translation.

Improvements of Version 2.0 over Version 1.0 include:

  1. King James Version
  2. Book of Common Prayer
  3. Douay-Rheims
  1. User can select an MP3 file to play instead of the default bells
  2. User can select to mute all sounds
